Building Standards
The information provided below is the Owners' Scheme Specifications for buildings/dwellings within the Gulf Harbour Marine Village. The Village is bounded by Harbour Village Drive on the east, Gulf Harbour Drive on the north, Laurie Southwick Parade on the west, and both sides of Rue d'Amarres on the south. The Association's Committee is trusted with enforcing the Owners' Scheme for the benefit of all property owners and properties in the Gulf Harbour Marine Village so that the owners, occupiers and developers shall be bound by the stipulations and restrictions set out in this section.
If you own land within the Marine Village and wish to build, your plans, building materials and colour schemes must be forwarded to the GHMVRAI Committee for approval. Downloading and reviewing the forms provided will greatly assist in the process of submitting plans to the Committee that they will be able to approve. Any new buildings must comply with the Owners' Scheme and be in keeping with the high standard of building construction and architectural compatibility that comprises the Gulf Harbour Marine Village. The approval maybe withheld if the style or standard of the proposed building or structure is not consistent with either the style or standard of similar approved buildings or structures within the Gulf Harbour Marine Village. There is a comprehensive 'Owners Scheme' that details the Gulf Harbour Marine Village Concept and provides information, to assist property developers and their architects, with the design of their developments so that they can compliment the overall plan, rather than compromise it.
